  • CERT - Free LAFD CERT Emergency Preparedness Training!!

    What will be the next Disaster? Where will you be when the next Disaster strikes? ARE YOU PREPARED?
    The Los Angeles Fire Department is offering a FREE Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training course in Monterey Hills! This 7-week course will provide you with information to help yourselves, family, and community during times of disaster. All citizens 18+ years old are invited. No experience necessary! Topics include:

    • Disaster Preparedness
    • Fire Suppression
    • Triage & Patient Assessment
    • Light Search & Rescue
    • Incident Command System
    • Disaster Psychology
    • Terrorism

    FREE LAFD CERT Training will be offered:
    Wednesdays, Jan 13 – Feb 24, 2010 7:00-9:30pm
    Marshall Villas Club House -4225 Via Arbolada, Monterey Hills 90042

    This course is recommended for all LA residents 18+ years old.
